Fate of village administrator’s job to be determined.

SHELBY — The fate of Shelby Village Administrator Chelsea Stratil’s job will be determined during a special council meeting scheduled for Monday, April 2, at 5 p.m., said Village President Paul Inglis.
The council went into closed session Monday evening, March 26, during a regular meeting to discuss Stratil’s job performance, Inglis said, but no action was taken. The council went into closed session the previous Tuesday, March 20, during a special council meeting to discuss the situation, but no action was taken.
Monday night’s closed session lasted approximately 40 minutes, Inglis said.
“There were other options being pursued, but they do not appear to be a viable resolution to the situation,” he said.
“It will be resolved next Monday in open session,” the village president said.
