Domestic violence arrests top police activity.

The following is recent Oceana County Sheriff’s Office activity:

Sunday, June 12, 2022:

  • 7:42 a.m., a 22-year-old Rothbury man was arrested for domestic violence, 1100 East Sand Creek Trail, Otto Township. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
  • 11:04 a.m., assist to Michigan State Police, a 36-year-old Shelby man was arrested for domestic violence, Chapita Hills, Village of Shelby. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
  • 3:16 p.m., assist to Michigan State Police, an 18-year-old Rothbury man was arrested for domestic violence, South Okemos Trail, Lake Tahoe subdivision, Grant Township.He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
  • 8:03 p.m., stolen vehicle, recovered, 6700 block of East Loop Road, Newfield Township.

Monday, June 13, 2022:

  • 8:16 p.m., report of a stolen 2016 F-350 Ford pickup truck, West M 20, Shelby Township. The complainant was arrested on an outstanding warrant. The stolen vehicle is under investigation.

Tuesday, June 14, 2022:

  • 3:50 p.m., attempted breaking and entering to a cottage, 3900 block of Railroad Avenue, Golden Township. There were pry marks on the door, but no entry was gained.

Wednesday, June 15, 2022:

  • 2:59 a.m., a 39-year-old Hesperia man was arrested for methamphetamine possession and second-offense driving while license suspended, South 192nd Avenue, Newfield Township. He was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.
