The following is recent police activity in Oceana County:

Tuesday, July 28, 2020:

– 5:20 p.m., (Oceana County Sheriff’s Office), car fire, no injuries, Winston Road off-ramp, southbound US 31, Grant Township.

– 11:10 p.m., (Michigan State Police), a 21-year-old Northville woman was arrested for operating while intoxicated, southbound US 31 near Oceana Drive, Pentwater Township.

Wednesday, July 29, 2020:

– 8:44 a.m., (OCSO), breaking and entering, East M 20, Newfield Township.

– 9:55 a.m., (OCSO), check fraud, a senior citizen was nearly defrauded $1,275 until a stop payment was issued on the check, Lake Street, City of Hart.
