Pickup truck slides down embankment, rolls over.

HART TOWNSHIP – A 20-year-old Hart man received minor injuries in a single-vehicle crash Wednesday, Nov. 13, shortly before 5:30 a.m. on Polk Road east of North 88th Avenue, according to an Oceana County Sheriff’s Office accident report.

The 1996 Chevrolet GMT-400 pickup truck was westbound, “and the driver lost control of the vehicle on the snow-covered roadway,” states the report. “The vehicle rotated 180 degrees in the roadway; went off the north side of the roadway; and rolled when it went down the embankment.”

The man was treated at the scene by Life EM but was not transported to a hospital, the report states. He was wearing a seatbelt.
