The following is recent police activity in Oceana County:

Saturday, May 18, 2019:

– 5:30 p.m., (Oceana County Sheriff’s Office), ORV crash, Silver Lake Sand Dunes, Golden Township.

– 7:36 p.m., (OCSO), a 28-year-old Hesperia man was arrested for reckless driving, operating without insurance and registration violation, North 188th Avenue, Colfax Township.

– 9:58 p.m., (OCSO), a 20-year-old Sparta man was arrested for operating while intoxicated (OWI), East McKinley Road, Otto Township.

– 10:18 p.m., (Michigan State Police), car/deer crash, Maple Island and McKinley roads, Greenwood Township.

– 10:43 p.m., (MSP), a 61-year-old Whitehall man was arrested for OWI, M 20 and 132nd Avenue, Ferry Township.

– 11 p.m., (MSP), a 32-year-old Hart man was cited for driving while license suspended (DWLS), State Street and Polk Road, City of Hart.

Sunday, May 19, 2019:

– 2:23 a.m., (OCSO), one-vehicle crash, North 176th Avenue, Colfax Township. A 67-year-old Muskegon woman and a 58-year-old Muskegon man were transported by Life EMS to Mercy Health Partners Lakeshore Campus in Shelby for minor injuries.

– 1:28 p.m., (OCSO), gas drive-off, $37.32 in fuel was stolen, VanPatten’s General Store, South 166th Avenue, Otto Township.

– 4:30 p.m., (MSP), one-vehicle crash, no injuries, US 31 and Hayes Road, Shelby Township.

– 8:25 p.m., (OCSO), a 26-year-old Hesperia man was arrested for DWLS and improper plate, South 192nd Avenue, Greenwood Township.

– 9:50 p.m., (MSP), car/deer crash, Taylor Road and 64th Avenue, Hart Township.
