78th District Court sentencings, posted March 4, 2019.

HART —The following were sentenced recently in 78th District Court:

– Cody Hector Rosalez, 33, of 4442 E. 21st St., Casper, was found guilty Feb. 25 of operating while intoxicated and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail for one year; Alcohol Highway Safety Education (AHSE); $500 in fines and costs.  One count of disorderly conduct – drunk was dismissed.

– Erik Halil Nardini, 42, of Cadillac, was found guilty Feb. 22 of disorderly person – jostling and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail for one year and $425 in fines and costs. Charges of domestic violence and fourth-degree child abuse were dismissed.

– Antonio Rocha, 46, of 6969 N. 126th Ave., Hart, was found guilty Feb. 22 of improper license and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail for one year and $275 in fines and costs.

– Alma Gloria Rodriguez-Muniz, 47, of 6256 N. 144th Ave., Walkerville, was found guilty Feb. 22 of improper license and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail for one year and $300 in fines and costs.

– Melissa Jean Michels, 26, of 6954 US 10, Fountain, was found guilty Feb. 22 of improper license and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail for one year and $300 in fines and costs.

– Nicholas Eugene Wynne, 34, of 9521 Oaklane Dr., Montague, was found guilty Feb. 22 of violating an instruction permit and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail for one year and $240 in fines and costs.

– Timothy Robert Gillette, Jr., 29, of 90 Fox St., Hesperia, was found guilty Feb. 25 of probation violation and was sentenced to nine days in jail; one year discretionary jail for one year; and $300 in fines and costs. One count of operating without insurance was dismissed.

– Allen Stewart VanBlargan, 19, of 1026 W. Giles Rd., Muskegon, was found guilty Feb. 25 violating a restricted license and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail and $400 in fines and costs.

– Michael James Swaynie, 22, of E. Pine Hill Ave., White Cloud, was found guilty Feb. 25 of probation violation and was sentenced to 18 days in jail; one year discretionary jail for one year; driver’s license suspended 180 days/restricted after 30 days; and $240 in fines and costs.

– Jeffrey John Nulf, 42, of 7114 S. Apple Hill Dr., Rothbury, was found guilty Feb. 25 of failure to sign sex offender registration and was sentenced Feb. 25 to 93 days discretionary jail for one year and $350 in fines and costs. One felony count of failure to comply with sex offender registration duties was dismissed.

Dismissals

– Daniel Ray Yost II, 31, of 4986 Wayne Rd., Pentwater, one count of alcoholic beverage in park was dismissed Feb. 25.

– Autumn Lynn Boyette, 36, of 64 S. Michigan Ave., Shelby, one count of truancy was dismissed Feb. 25. “Child has been attending school regularly,” her court file states.

– Jeffrey Scott Oklad, 56, of 2144 N. Buys Rd., Muskegon, one count of operating while intoxicated was dismissed Feb. 25. “Case is going to be charged (in circuit court) as OWI third (offense.)

– Johanna Scott Workman, 62, of 2568 Roswater, Grand Rapids, one count of transporting open intoxicants was dismissed Feb. 25.

– Charlotte Elizabeth Evans, 31, of 311 E. Jefferson St.,, Hart, one count of assault and battery was dismissed Feb. 25. “Victim isn’t cooperating – not in the interested of Justice,” her court file states.
