ROTHBURY — A 28-year-old Oakland County man who attended the Electric Forest Festival remains missing, said Sgt. David Bach of the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office, Highland Township Outpost.

“A worker at a gentlemen’s club in Oregon said she had seen him there,” Bach said. “We’re working on getting the video.”

Kevin Graves was last seen at the festival, July 1, and his family has a $10,000 reward for his return.

There was also a sighting of Graves in the Stony Lake area, Bach said.

“At this time, there have been multiple sightings of him,” the sergeant said. “We’ve had sightings over in Oregon but here in Michigan at the same time. We’re getting them from all over the place. We continue to follow up as much as we can.”

A search and rescue team is planning a search today, July 23, near the festival grounds.

Shiawassee Search and Rescue, a private nonprofit organization, is joining the search. The group is conducting a search in the Rothbury area, according to a Facebook page Help Us Find Kevin Graves.

The organization is not seeking volunteers, although they may be needed in the future, the Facebook post states.

Bach said he is in contact with Graves’ father at least once a week and had most recently spoken with him last Friday. He didn’t mention today’s search to him.

The Hart post of the Michigan State Police is assisting with the case.

Family members have displayed “missing person” posters in the Muskegon and Rothbury areas. His brother, Tim Graves, said that Kevin had been at the festival with his girlfriend. The two had an argument and Kevin was supposedly going to return to his tent, but was not found there.

Kevin Graves has blond hair and blue eyes and is about 6-feet tall and 185 pounds.

Anyone with information about Kevin Graves’ whereabouts is asked to call the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office at (248) 858-4950, the Michigan State Police Hart Post (231) 873-2171, or Mason-Oceana 911 (231) 869-5858.
