Crashes, arrests keep police busy over the weekend.

The following is police activity in Oceana County over the weekend:
Friday, July 6, 2018:
– 6:48 p.m., (Oceana County Sheriff’s Office), heroin possession, no arrests, South 160th Avenue, Greenwood Township.
– 11:22 p.m., (OCSO), a 33-year-old Hart man was arrested for subsequent offense driving while license suspended (DWLS), Michigan Avenue, Village of Shelby.
Saturday, July 7, 2018:
– 5:09 a.m., (OCSO), a 31-year-old Mandota, Missouri man was arrested for transporting open intoxicants and driving without a license, North Business US 31, Pentwater Township.
– 11:25 a.m., (Michigan State Police), two-vehicle crash, no injuries, Shelby Road near 40th Avenue, Benona Township.
– 1:08 p.m., (OCSO), a 27-year-old Lamonte, Illinois man was arrested for DWLS and ORV in the roadway, West Fox Road, Golden Township.
– 2:55 p.m., (MSP), one-vehicle crash causing injury, East Deer Road near 152nd Avenue, Elbridge Township.
– 8:07 p.m., (OCSO), assault, no arrests, Vachon Street, Golden Township.
Sunday, July 8, 2018:
– 11:50 a.m., (MSP), car/deer crash, Shelby Road near 40th Avenue, Benona Township.
– 12:50 a.m., (OCSO), a 17-year-old Ludington man was arrested for minor in possession of alcohol (MIP); a 20-year-old Custer man was arrested for MIP; and a 17-year-old Scottville man is suspect for marijuana possession, North 48th Avenue, Golden Township.
– 1 p.m., (MSP), car/deer crash, 104th Avenue near West Lever Road, Hart Township.
– 1:18 p.m., (MSP), gas drive-off, EZ Mart, Village of Hesperia.
– 11:10 p.m., (MSP), car/deer crash, East Tyler Road east of 116th Avenue, Elbridge Township.
