State Police investigating Electric Forest Festival death.

HART — Michigan State Police Hart Post is investigating the death of a 27-year-old California man who attended the Electric Forest Festival in Rothbury. A press release from MSP Hart Post states that Hunter Lurie suffered a medical emergency at the festival on Friday, June 29.  Lurie was transported to Mercy Hospital in Muskegon where he died on Monday, July 2, 2018.

An autopsy was conducted on Tuesday, July 3, 2018, in Kalamazoo and the report is pending.  The results of the autopsy will be released upon completion.
