ROTHBURY — Over the past two weekends, June 21-24 and June 28 through July 1, Oceana County has been the host of nearly 70,000 festival attendees during the eighth annual Electric Forest Festival at the Double JJ Resort.

When walking around the festival grounds, people of all ages could be seen enjoying the music and interactive attractions. After talking to a number of attendees, one thing can be certain: The people are what makes the Forest a one-of-a-kind place. #EF2018 #EightDaysOfForest #ElectricForest

almost exclusively for the experience of spending so much time with like-minded people. The positivity throughout the crowd and the acceptance of every kind of lifestyle, fashion, and preference is truly spectacular. It’s like coming home to 40,000 family members.

Weekend Attended: Both weekends
Why do you come back to Forest: The people! I’ve come to discover that life is less about what you’re doing and more about who you’re doing it with. The Forest has a way of bringing together such a loving and unique group from all walks of life, I can’t think of more extraordinary people to celebrate it with. There’s a reason we call each other “Forest Fam.” Rothbury is our home. Electric Forest is our reunion.
