HART — The Hart Police Department is reminding area residents and visitors of the City of Hart’s winter overnight parking restrictions.

“It’s unlawful to park or leave standing any vehicle of any nature, whether propelled by motor or otherwise, or whether occupied or unoccupied by any person or persons, between the hours of 2 a.m. and 6 a.m. of any day, except for doctors on emergency calls, upon any street or designated municipal parking lot in the City of Hart from November through March,” said Hart Police Chief Juan Salazar.

“City parking lots located in the downtown area are marked as odd and even lots. Residents need to make sure they are parked in the correct parking lot during the parking restrictions. This is to allow for snow removal of parking lots and city streets.

“If any vehicles are noted to be parked on any city street or incorrect city parking lots during the winter parking enforcement, the vehicle will be cited.”

If anyone has any questions regarding the winter parking restrictions, they are asked to contact the Hart Police Department at (231) 873-2488.
