Police search for 2 missing Hart area girls.


HART — The Oceana County Sheriff’s Office is searching for two missing girls from the Hart area, according to Oceana County Sheriff Craig Mast.

The girls are sisters, 10-year-old Charlotte Thomas and 9-year-old Clarissa Thomas. They were reported missing Monday, Aug. 21, at 8 a.m. The two girls, who could be runaways, were last seen at midnight, Mast said.

Charlotte Thomas is 4’2″ tall and weighs 54 pounds. She was last seen wearing a blue skort and a blue shirt. Clarissa Thomas is 4′ tall and weighs 64 pounds. She was wearing pink leggings and a pink shirt with an “Elsa & Anna” shirt from the “Frozen” movie.

The search is currently being conducted in the Hart and Mears area, Mast said.
