78th District Court sentencings.

HART — The following were sentenced recently in 78th District Court:

– Gordon Thomas Murat, 42, of 394 W. Filmore Rd., Hart, was found guilty May 22 of operating while intoxicated and was sentenced to 49 days in jail with credit for 49 days served; 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; must obtain a full evaluation from Community Mental Health; outpatient treatment; and $1,155 in fines and costs. Murat was also found guilty May 22 of DWLS and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; and $400 in fines and costs. Convictions reportable to SOS. One count of transporting open intoxicants and one count of operating with a high BAC were dismissed.

– Tammy Lynn Burow, 53, of 7959 72nd Ave., Pentwater, was found guilty June 12 of operating with a high blood alcohol content (BAC) and was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served; six months probation; 180 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; outpatient treatment; $1,715 in fines and costs; not to purchase/possess a firearm; subject to testing, searches and counseling required by probation; no alcohol/drugs; report as directed by probation officer; an no assaultive behavior. One count of transporting open intoxicants and one count of driving while license not valid were dismissed. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS).

– Brody Alexander Penoyer, 21, of 1066 E. 98th St., Grant, was found guilty June 9 of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to 90 days at the court’s discretion over the next one year and $290 in fines and costs. One count of no operator’s license dismissed.

– Douglas Gene Viscome, 58, of 728 N. Crystal Lane, Mears, was found guilty June 12 of marijuana use and was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served; 90 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; driver’s license suspended one year/restricted 60 days; and $400 in fines and costs. One count of marijuana possession was dismissed.

– Patrick Daniel Aerts, 55, of 223 W. Lake St., Hart, was found guilty June 12 of allowing a person under the influence of alcohol to operate and was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served; 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; and $400 in fines and costs. One count of operating while intoxicated was dismissed.

– Kathryn Helene Machiela, 21, of 5824 Larson Rd., Fountain, was found guilty June 12 of breaking and entering – illegal entry and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; $400 in restitution; and $500 in fines and costs. One count of malicious destruction of property $200-$1,000 was dismissed.

– Gina Rachelle Freeland, 47, of 15 N. Courtland St., Hart, was found guilty May 22 of operating while intoxicated and was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served; 93 days discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; outpatient treatment; and $1,190 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS. One count of operating with a high BAC was dismissed.

– Morgan James Pearson, 20, of 160 S. East St., Walkerville, was found guilty June 12 of second-offense DWLS and was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served; one year discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; and $400 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.

– Oren Dale Ward, III, 46, of 206 E. Shelby Rd., Shelby, was found guilty June 12 of second-offense DWLS and was sentenced to nine days in jail; one year discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; and $400 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS. One count of open intoxicants in a vehicle was dismissed.

– Michael Dae White, II, 21, of 40 Bennett St., Shelby, was found guilty June 12 of operating without insurance and was sentenced to one year discretionary jail to ensure compliance with sentence; credit for time served if imposed; and $500 in fines and costs.

Dismissal

– Patrick Daniel Busman, 36, of 3520 W. 112th St., Grant, one count of failure to report an accident was dismissed on a deferred sentence June 5.
