Hart boy missing.

UPDATE: “The Oceana County Sheriff’s Office just got a call from a Muskegon cab driver who stated he saw this story on the news and wanted to tell us he’d picked up a kid matching that description and by the name of Miramontes,” stated Lt. Craig Mast. “The cab driver says he took the young man to the Greyhound Station in Muskegon right after picking him up. The Oceana Sheriff’s Office will continue to investigate but want to thank all the local press for the quick response.”

HART — The Oceana County Sheriff’s Office is currently looking for Jason Miramontes, a 16-year-old boy who was last seen by his family members at 10:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 24, at their home on East Filmore Road, located east of Hart.

“His family is very worried as he has never behaved in this fashion previously,” states Lt. Craig Mast. “The family and deputies have tried contacting other family, friends and a girlfriend, although have been unsuccessful in locating Jason as of yet.”
