HART — Officers from the Hart Police Department were called to an assault and battery Saturday, Dec. 13, at 2:15 p.m. in the 500 block of State Street.
There were no arrests, and the police report has been turned over to the Oceana County Prosecutor’s Office for review, said Hart Police Chief Dan Leimback. The victim suffered “minor facial bruising,” the chief said.

– Prank phone calls, callers ordered food at a local restaurant for delivery, and then would tell the restaurant employee they wanted the food delivered to an out-of-state address and hang up.

– 9:38 p.m., property damage accident, Courtland St., no injuries, car backed out of a driveway and hit a parked car.
