The City of Ludington is seeking applicants for the part time, seasonal position of (Non-Sworn) Beach Patrol. Applicants must be 18 years or older, possess a valid MI driver’s license, current First Aid/CPR/AED Cert., have no felony convictions and able to pass a physical exam and drug screen. Preference will be given to applicants currently certified in Water Rescue. Rate of pay is $10.00/hr. for up to 40 hours per week. Protecting & Serving: Sheriff Craig Mast has served with the Oceana County Sheriff’s Office for over 24 years. In his first term as Sheriff, he leads an office of 38 employees. Sheriff Mast started as a dispatcher and rose in the ranks to Sergeant and later Lieutenant before becoming Sheriff. He has been a member of the Sheriff’s Emergency Response Team and the Dive Team.
