Felonious assault arrests top sheriff’s office activity.

The following is recent activity of the Oceana County Sheriff’s Office:

Monday, July 26, 2021:

  • 4:45 a.m., a 26-year-old Crystal Township man was arrested on charges of felonious assault and illegal possession of a firearm, North 72nd Avenue, Hart Township.
  • 9:05 a.m., a 34-year-old Hesperia man was arrested on charges of resisting and opposing police, damage to property and assault, State Street, Village of Shelby.
  • 4:02 p.m., a 31-year-old Rothbury woman is a suspect in a parole violation matter, East Forrest Street, Village of Rothbury.

Tuesday, July 27, 2021:

  • 2:47 a.m., a 20-year-old New Era man was arrested for felonious assault, South Elm Street, Grant Township.
  • 11:01 p.m., a 41-year-old Hesperia woman was arrested on a warrant and for no operator’s license, East M 20, Newfield Township.
