Shelby Township launches new logo, website.

SHELBY TOWNSHIP — A newly rebranded Shelby Township has recently launched its brand-new website, www.shelbytownshipoceana.com.

The new website brings all of the resources Shelby Township residents need to one easy-to-navigate platform, including access to news, information, and resources for the community. The rebranding effort began in January as the township board wanted to bring new life to the township’s logo and generate excitement and pride within the township.

“We couldn’t be happier with how the newly-designed logo turned out,” said Shelby Township Supervisor Richard Raffaelli. “It represents the heart of Shelby Township, as we are a township that is proud of its agricultural roots.”

Once the logo was completed, the Shelby Township Board turned its attention to developing a new website that could be used as a resource for township members. The new website features information for upcoming meetings, links to township ordinances, forms, applications, contact information for township board members, and past meeting minutes. In addition, the website features township assessor information, including a link to look up your property. Future plans for the website include an online payment option for annual taxes.

“As a township board, it was important to us to have a website that provides easy-to-find information that our community members commonly request,” said Raffaelli, “and we believe the new website does just that.”
