MSP: No incidents on EF’s first day.

ROTHBURY – The Hart post of the Michigan State Police reported no criminal incidents at the Electric Forest Festival Thursday, June 27, which was the first day of the four-day event.

MSP troopers dealt with three non-injury vehicle crashes Wednesday, June 26, as Electric Forest goers with early entry passes headed into the venue. MSP also also reported an incident Wednesday of someone a carrying concealed weapon near Double JJ Resort where the event takes place.

Gates opened Thursday for entry into the nationally-renowned music festival which continues through Sunday, June 30.

The gigantic celebration of music, art and individuality attracts approximately 50,000 people from across the nation and beyond each year.
