Scouts learn valuable lesson about US flag.
HART – Hart Boy Scout Troop 1155 and Cub Scout Pack 4146 conducted a flag ceremony Monday evening, March 18, at Spitler Elementary School.
“The scouts discussed the history of the American flag; the proper ways to show respect for the flag and display it; how to fold the flag along with the meaning behind each fold; how to respectfully retire a worn out flag; and how to raise and lower the American flag,” said Troop 1155 Scoutmaster Bob Schulz.
