Tree company truck tips over on icy road.

LEAVITT TOWNSHIP – A 2014 Freightliner truck owned by Asplundh Tree Expert Company based in Mount Pleasant tipped over on East Filmore Road near North 168th Avenue Wednesday, March 13, shortly after 9:30 a.m., according to an Oceana County Sheriff’s Office accident report.

The driver, who is a 37-year-old Nunica man, was not injured.

The driver was eastbound when he lost control on the icy road; went off the right side of the road; and struck a mailbox. He then came back on the road, and the truck overturned, coming to rest on the right side facing west, according to the narrative of the report.
