HART – The following were sentenced recently in 78th District Court:

– Ray Curtis Hamilton, 35, of 1757 Smith St., Muskegon, was found guilty Jan. 7 of operating while intoxicated and sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail for one year; outpatient treatment; and $1,180 in fines, costs and restitution. One count of operating with a high blood alcohol content (BAC) was dismissed.

– Katie Lynn Townsend, 35, of 2962 Skeels Rd., Montague, was found guilty Jan. 8 of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail for one year and $290 in fines and costs. One count of driving while license suspended (DWLS) was dismissed.

– Nathaniel Ralph Frees, 27, of 2072 Loop Rd., Shelby, was found guilty Jan. 8 of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail for one year and $290 in fines and costs. One count of DWLS was dismissed.

– Sandra Kay Shaffer, 46, of 5417 Deer Rd., Walkerville, was found guilty Jan. 8 of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail for one year and $290 in fines and costs. One count of operating without insurance was dismissed.

– Kendall Dean Miedema, 59, of 6969 72nd Ave., Hudsonville, was found guilty Jan. 9 of improper operation – emergency equipment and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail for one year and $175 in fines and costs.

– Milo Antonio Maya, 21, of 14740 Waypoint Parkway, West Olive, was found guilty Jan. 9 of DWLS and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail for one year and $265 in fines and costs.

– Richard Leroy Knight, 57, of 1760 186th Ave., Hesperia, was found guilty Jan. 11 of unlawful license plate and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail for one year and $125 in fines and costs.

– Juan Gabriel Guadarrama, 43, of 4705 N. 120th Ave., Hart, was found guilty Jan. 11 of driving while license not valid and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail for one year and $310 in fines and costs.

– Celso Sanchez, 36, of 5210 S. Water Rd., New Era, was found guilty Jan. 11 of failure to tarp a load and failure to display a valid license and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail for one year and $240 in fines and costs.

– Baldiano Barasos Garza, 48, of 1264 S. 160th Ave., Hesperia, was found guilty Jan. 11 of uncased firearm in vehicle and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail for one year and $355 in fines and costs.

– Richard Leroy Knight, 57, of 1760 186th Ave., Hesperia, was found guilty Jan. 11 of unlawful license plate use and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail for one year and $215 in fines and costs.

– Shane Robert Russell, 35, of 544 S. 48th Ave., Shelby, was found guilty of operating while intoxicated and sentenced Jan. 14 to outpatient treatment; six months probation; must submit to counseling, testing and searches as directed by his probation officer; no alcohol/drugs; and $465 in fines and costs. Charges of third-offense operating while intoxicated and second-offense DWLS were dismissed.

– Amaury Rivera, 28, of 5154 N. Wayne Rd., Pentwater, was found guilty Jan. 14 of operating while impaired and was sentenced to outpatient treatment; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; and $1,140 in fines and costs. Charges of operating while intoxicated and failure to report an accident were dismissed.

– Jeffrey Kaii Carter, 24, of 234 1/2 Wright St., Cadillac, was found guilty Jan. 14 of UCR (unified carrier registration) fee not paid and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail for one year and $275 in fines and costs.

– Derek Allan Wroblewski, 45, of 45895 Cass Ave., Utica, was found guilty Jan. 15 of operating an ORV while impaired and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail for one year; ORV license suspended for six months; and $1,105 in fines and costs. Charges of operating while intoxicated and operating an ORV while license suspended were dismissed.

– Tyler Brady Gregorski, 29, of 369 2nd St., Manistee, was found guilty Jan. 15 of operating with a forged/altered/false identification and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail for one year and a $75 fine.

– Holly May Thomas, 20, of 1346 E. Madison Rd., Hart, was found guilty Jan. 15 of harboring misdemeanants and received a delayed sentence. If there are no further problems by the time of her sentencing April 16, 2019, she can withdraw her plea.

– Dylan Thomas Graber, 22, of 561 Holton Whitehall Rd., Whitehall, was found guilty Jan. 15 of attempted taking an animal without a hunting license and received a delayed sentence. If there are no further problems by the time of his sentencing July 16, 2019, he can withdraw his plea.

– Brian Gamez, 26, of 252 Dennis Rd., Ludington, was found guilty Jan. 15 of operating while intoxicated and was sentenced to outpatient treatment; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; and $1,190 in fines and costs. Charges of operating with a high BAC and and transporting open intoxicants were dismissed.

– Audelia E. Robinson, 51, of 3162 W. Monroe Rd., Hart, was found guilty Jan. 15 of operating while impaired and was sentenced to Alcohol Highway Safety Education; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; and $1,080 in fines and costs. One count of operating while intoxicated was dismissed.

Dismissals

– Matthew Martin-Allen Stevens, 38, of 2837 S. 186th Ave., Hesperia, charges of domestic violence and malicious destruction of property valued at less than $200 were dismissed Jan. 10, because “victim is unwilling to cooperate,” his court file states.

– Matthew Allen Lattin, 32, of 426 Chestnut St., Reed City, one count of third-degree retail fraud was dismissed Jan. 14. “Interests of justice no longer require further prosecution,” his court file states.

– Robert Paul Caruso, 41, of 9223 W. Sandy Court, Mears, one count of DWLS was dismissed Jan. 14. “Interests of justice no longer require further prosecution,” his court file states.
