HART — A 27-year-old Walkerville man faces a high-court misdemeanor of aggravated indecent exposure after allegedly flashing a woman in her 70s as she walked down the road in Leavitt Township.

Luis Gerardo Montemayor, of 6362 N. 192nd Ave., was arrested July 17 by the Oceana County Sheriff’s Office.

Montemayor reportedly pulled up in a vehicle and asked the woman if she wanted a ride. As he approached the woman, he was allegedly fondling himself and masturbating in front of her, said Oceana County Chief Assistant Prosecutor Chad DeRouin.

Montemayor is scheduled to appear for a preliminary conference in 78th District Court Monday, July 30, at 3 p.m. His bail was set at $15,000/cash/surety.

The maximum penalty for aggravated indecent exposure is two years in prison.
