Karaptian has verbally accepted the position and the board expects to finalize a contract over the next few weeks, according to a press release.

“We are excited and enthused to be working with Mr. Karaptian,” said Linda VanGills, of the board of education. “Mr. Karaptian brings a strong educational background to the position and will be an excellent fit with the school system and community.”
