GRANT TWP. — The Hart post of the Michigan State Police issued a press release late Wednesday morning, July 1, indicating that investigators consider Electric Forest Festival attendee Evan Jensen “missing by his own volition.”

Jensen has been missing since early Monday morning, June 29, which was  the day after the gigantic four-day music festival at the Double JJ Resort.

“Since that time, troopers from the Hart Post have received credible information that missing person Evan Jensen was seen at local businesses during the day on Monday, and he did not appear to be under any duress,” states the press release.

“Evan Jensen was reported as a missing person early Tuesday morning, and it was reported he was last seen on Monday June 29, at 5 a.m. Although this is an ongoing investigation, it appears at this time, that Mr. Jensen is alive and well and is considered missing by his own volition. If anyone has contact with Mr. Jensen, we ask that you advise him to call the Michigan State Police Hart Post or 911 so we can make positive contact with him.”
