SHELBY —  The Shelby Tigers are celebrating homecoming this week.

The homecoming parade begins Friday at 5 p.m., with parade entrants lining up by the rail trail pavilion near the police station. The procession begins on Third Street, and then goes left onto Michigan Avenue through downtown before turning right onto Fourth Street. The parade then takes a left onto Maple Street and continues to Sixth Street. The route takes a brief right on Sixth Street and then turns left onto School Street and marches to the middle school/high school parking lot.

The crowning of the king and queen takes place during halftime of the varsity football game against the Ravenna Bulldogs.
