79th District Court news, July 14, 2022.

HART — The following proceedings recently took place in Oceana County’s 79th District Court:

Misdemeanor arraignments

  • Jared Theodore Greiner, of 1620 Terrace St., Muskegon; Oceana County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO); disorderly person — window peeper. Pretrial: July 28 at 3:30 p.m. Bail: $1,000/cash/surety/10 percent.

 

  • Joshua James Pagura, of 2937 E. Polk Rd., Hart; OCSO; second-offense driving while license suspended (DWLS). Pretrial: July 28 at 2:30 p.m. Bail: $1,000/cash/surety.

 

  • James Luke Harris, of 1824 10th St., Martin, Michigan; OCSO; operating while intoxicated. Pretrial: Aug. 4 at 9 a.m. Bail: $500/cash/surety.

 

  • Eliseo Hernandez Lagos, of 2261 W. Shelby Rd., Shelby; OCSO; domestic violence. Pretrial: July 28 at 3:15 p.m. Bail: $3,500/cash/surety/10 percent.

 

  • Wali Rashad Johnson-Ahmad, of 834 S. Sheridan Dr., Muskegon; OCSO; open intoxicants. Pretrial: Aug. 11 at 1:30 p.m. Bail: $1,000 personal recognizance (PR).

Sentencings

  • Dustin Douglas Clark, of 2151 N. 56th Ave., Mears, was found guilty July 5 of third-degree retail fraud and was sentenced to $580 in fines, costs and restitution. One count of driving with a suspended license (DWLS) was dismissed.

 

  • Matthew Gutierrez, of 515 S. Dryden St., Hart, was found guilty July 5 of larceny less than $200 and was sentenced to $514.95 in fines, costs and restitution.

 

  • Jose Alfredo Villarreal, Jr., of 1588 E. Hammett Rd., Hart, was found guilty July 12 of transporting open intoxicants and was sentenced to $300 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS).

 

  • William Armes McGonigle, of 2364 Shamrock Lane, Muskegon, was found guilty May 2 of operating while intoxicated and was sentenced July 12 to $1,155 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.

 

  • Jeremiah James Helms, of 6554 W. Shelby Rd., Shelby, was found guilty June 21 of operating while intoxicated and was sentenced to $1,200 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.

 

  • Jeffrey Lee Mansel, of 1006 4 Mile Rd. NW, Grand Rapids, was found guilty July 12 of malicious destruction of property and was sentenced to $350 in fines, costs, and restitution.

Dismissals

  • Douglas Phillow Arbogast, of 4717 144th Ave., Hesperia, charges of interfering with electronic communications and a domestic violence were dismissed July 14. “The defendant is deceased,” court records state.

 

  • Arnulfo Trevino, Jr., of 34 Clymer St., Pentwater, one count of attempted breaking and entering — illegal entry was dismissed July 1. “The victim in this matter no longer wishes to have charges pursued against the defendant,” court records state.
