78th District Court sentencings, Sept. 22, 2021.

HART — The following were sentenced recently in 78th District Court:

  • Adam Scott Schilz-Kissling, 30, of 206 N. Pine St., Shelby, was found guilty Sept. 7 of malicious destruction of personal property less than $200 and was sentenced to 93 days suspended jail with credit for three days served; $690 in restitution; and $450 in fines and costs. One count of domestic violence was dismissed.

 

  • Thomas Cody Frye, 40, of 4976 N. Maple Island Rd., Hesperia, was found guilty Sept. 10 of driving while license suspended (DWLS) in three separate cases and unlawful license plate and was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served and a $75 fine. DWLS convictions reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS).

 

  • James Arthur Kelly, 22, of 5175 W. Lee Rd., Montague, was found guilty Sept. 7 of failure to report an accident and was sentenced to 90 days suspended jail with credit for one day served and $400 in fines and costs.

 

  • Wayne Michael Kittel, Jr., 50, of 1465 Mill Rd., Hart, was found guilty Sept. 7 of assault and battery and was sentenced to 93 days suspended jail with credit for one day served and $450 in fines and costs. Charges of DWLS, unlawful license plates and operating without insurance were dismissed.

 

  • Brett Hewett Murmann, 55, of 2800 E. Pierce Rd., Shelby, was found guilty Sept. 7 of operating while intoxicated (OWI) and was sentenced to 93 days suspended jail with credit for one day served and $1,205 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS. One count of operating without insurance was dismissed.

 

  • Robert Lee Neel-Hinojosa, 27, of 1550 Sunview St., Muskegon, was found guilty Sept. 13 of improper license and was sentenced to $375 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.

 

  • Noel Trevino, 42, of 3300 S. Foster St., Shelby, was found guilty Sept. 10 of DWLS and was sentenced to $450 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.
