27th Circuit Court sentencings.

HART — The following were sentenced recently in 27th Circuit Court:

Spears

– Jason Lee Spears, 26, of 1064 100th Ave., Hart, was found guilty Sept. 28 of breaking and entering with intent and fourth-offense habitual offender and was sentenced Nov. 23 to one year in jail with credit for 51 days served and $490 in fines and costs. Restitution is reserved pending a hearing.

– Jamar Ladon Knox, 30, of 4210 Laketon Ave., Muskegon, was found guilty July 27 of carrying a concealed weapon and was sentenced Nov. 16 to 75 days in jail with credit for

48 days served; one year probation; and $258 in fines and costs. One count of felony firearms possession was dismissed. Firearm must be forfeited to police agency.

– Ronald Wade Bunting, 41, of 2616 Skeels Rd., Montague, pleaded “no contest” Sept. 28 to methamphetamine possession and

was sentenced Nov. 23 to 28 days in jail with credit for 28 days served; two years probation; driver’s license suspended 180 days/restricted after 30 days; and $490 in fines and costs.

– Theodore Alan Smith, 47, of 2088 Joy St., Mears, was found guilty Oct. 5 of unlawful driving away of a motor

vehicle and was sentenced Nov. 16 to eight months in jail with credit for 115 days served; 18 months probation; and $458 in fines and costs.
