Shelby receives $3,000 grant from community foundation for pocket park.

SHELBY — The Oceana County Community Foundation recently provided the Village of Shelby with a $3,000 grant toward developing a pocket park.

The grant money will be used to assist in the purchase of property for the pocket park which be located in an open area next to Magooz Floor Covering on Michigan Avenue, said Interim Village Administrator Bill Cousins.
