78th District Court arraignments.

HART — The following were arraigned recently in 78th District Court:

Felonies

Cox

– Melody Ann Cox, 64, of 3420 W. Skeels Rd., Montague, was arrested by the Oceana County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO) for a felony of larceny in a building. Preliminary exam: Sept. 8 at 3 p.m. Bail: $2,500/cash/surety/10 percent.

Jagniecki

– Gabriel John Jagniecki, 31, of 3173 Meyers Ave., New Era, was arrested by the Hart Police Department (HPD) for a felony of uttering and publishing counterfeit bills or notes. Preliminary exam: Aug. 31 at 3 p.m. Bail: $1,000/cash/surety/10 percent.

Tanner

– Brittany Nichole Tanner, 28, of 300 N. 136th Ave., Hart was arrested by OCSO on felony charges of methamphetamine possession and larceny in a building. Preliminary exam: Aug. 31 at 3 p.m. Bail: $2,500/cash/surety/10 percent.

Landis

– Steven Lynn Landis, 31, of 1295 N. Water Rd., Hart, was arrested by OCSO on three felony counts of assaulting/resisting/obstructing police. Preliminary exam: Aug. 31 at 3 p.m. Bail: $3,500/cash/surety/10 percent.

Skofic

– Bradley James Skofic, 19, of 3110 Tahoe Trail, New Era, was arrested by the Michigan State Police (MSP) for a felony of malicious destruction of property $1,000-$20,000 and a misdemeanor of domestic violence. Preliminary exam: Sept. 8 at 3 p.m. Bail: $5,000/personal recognizance.

Rabenberg

– Timothy Conrad Rabenberg, 24, of 1280 Hawthorne Place, Saint Louis, Missouri, was arrested by the State, Sheriff, City Enforcement of Narcotics Team (SSCENT) on felony charges of controlled substance delivery/manufacture (narcotic/cocaine) 50-224 grams and controlled substance delivery (schedule 1, 2, 3 except marijuana and cocaine). Preliminary exam: Aug. 17 at 3 p.m. Bail: $25,000/cash/surety/10 percent.

Morgan

– Kasey Marie Morgan, 29, of 3112 56th Ave., Hart, was arrested by MSP for a felony of control substance possession (narcotic/cocaine) less than 25 grams. Preliminary exam: Aug. 17 at 3 p.m. Bail: $2,500/cash/surety/10 percent.

Smith

– Theodore Alan Smith, 46, of 2088 Joy St., Mears, was arrested by OCSO for a felony of unlawful driving away of an automobile/car theft. Preliminary exam: Aug. 17 at 3 p.m. Bail: $3,500/cash/surety/10 percent.

 

Misdemeanors

– Mark James Pierce, 67, of 265 E. Tyler Rd., Hart; OCSO; domestic violence. Pretrial: Sept. 3 at 1:45 p.m. Bail: $1,500/cash/surety/10 percent.

– Manuel Benavidez, 18, of 44 N. 88th Ave., Hart; Shelby Police Department (SPD); third-degree retail fraud. (Nex hearing date unavailable.) Bail: $1,000/personal recognizance.

– Nichole Lee McQuate, 40, of 6416 W. Johnson Rd., Shelby; Department of Natural Resources (DNR); ORV — letting a child under 16 operate. Plea/sentencing hearing: Sept. 11 at 2:30 p.m. Bail: $1,000/personal recognizance.

– Rodger Paul Gagnon, 42, of 7415 Whitehall Rd., Whitehall; OCSO; operating while intoxicated. Pretrial: Aug. 20 at 1:15 p.m. Bail: $2,500/personal recognizance.

– Lou Arthur Berge, 28, of 1765 N. Peterson Rd., Muskegon; OCSO; transporting open intoxicants. Plea/sentencing hearing: Sept. 16 at 9 a.m. Bail: $1,000/personal recognizance.

– Peter Nicholas Todaro, 57, of 41866 Clayton St., Clinton Township, Michigan, was arrested by MSP for a misdemeanor of domestic violence. Pretrial: Sept. 10 at 11 a.m. Bail: $2,500/cash/surety/10 percent.

– Renee Magallan, Jr., 36, of 3737 N. 140th Ave., Hart; DNR; malicious destruction of property $200-$1,000 (two counts in separate cases). Plea/sentencing hearing: Sept. 21 at 2:30 p.m. Bail: $2,500/personal recognizance.
