2 injured in golf cart rollover crash.

GOLDEN TOWNSHIP — Two women were injured in a golf cart rollover crash Wednesday evening, July 29, shortly before 8:30 p.m. at the Timberlake Resort & RV Club on Ridge Road, according to Oceana County Sheriff Craig Mast.

A 58-year-old Stanwood woman was transported by Life EMS to Mercy Health Partners Lakeshore Campus in Shelby, and a 66-year-old Howard City woman was treated at the scene. Two other people riding in the cart were not injured. The crash occurred on the resort’s “Bunny Trail.”

Hart Area Fire Department assisted at the scene.
