Accused tire slasher arrested.

HART TOWNSHIP — A 36-year-old Hart man was arrested by Oceana County sheriff’s deputies for malicious destruction of property after allegedly slashing four tires on a Ford Mustang Wednesday night, April 29, according to Oceana County Sheriff Craig Mast.

The incident occurred in the vicinity of 88th Avenue and Baseline Road shorty after 9 p.m. Deputies found the suspect hiding in a friend’s car.

In a separate incident, Michigan State Police troopers from the Hart post arrested a 55-year-old Walkerville man for violating a personal protection order Wednesday around 9:30 p.m. in the 7000 block of Jefferson Road in Colfax Township, according to Sgt. Dan Thomas.
