WMCMH announces temporary service changes.

LUDINGTON — West Michigan Community Mental Health has switched to practicing no face-to-face appointments with some exceptions.

Exceptions include: Injections, certain home based services, crisis situations that cannot be resolved via phone or video conference, urgent walk-in crisis services.

Non face-to-face services will include therapy sessions, case management assessments, psychiatric evaluations, among other services.

All WMCMH gathering sites are closed, including Dimensions Unlimited, Progressions, and Integrations. All WMCMH autism centers are closed. Group classes are cancelled, including DBT, Dimensions Tobacco Cessation, Simple, and Next Step. Client transportation is limited to only those who need injections at WMCMH offices. Naloxone trainings are cancelled.

Patients who have a scheduled appointment, are asked to call ahead to determine if needs can be met using virtual technology. Those seeking assistance with new services, can call 1-800-992-2061. Please do not report to a WMCMH building unless it is an urgent crisis situation.

If you or someone you know is in crisis, is suicidal, having trouble coping, or feeling emotionally overwhelmed, contact the 24-hour mental health crisis stabilization hotline at 1-800-992-2061.
