HART – A 35-year-old Hart man faces a felony of damaging police property after allegedly shattering a window by the entrance door to the Oceana County Sheriff’s Office Monday, Nov. 25, around 9 p.m.

A family member transported the man to the sheriff’s office after a domestic violence incident on West Tyler Road in Hart Township, said Oceana County Sheriff Craig Mast.

While outside the entrance door, the suspect allegedly slammed the door to the phone box open and shut several times, shattering a side window to the entrance, Mast said.

The suspect also faces a misdemeanor of domestic violence stemming from the incident on West Tyler Road.
