HART – The following were sentenced recently in 78th District Court:

– Ryan Mitchell Smith, 28, of 3623 N. 60th Ave., Hart, was found guilty Sept. 30 of operating while impaired and was sentenced to 93 days suspended jail with credit for one day served and $1,090 in fines and costs. One count of operating while intoxicated was dismissed. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS).

– Mary Lou Cook, 71, of 7 Rankin St., Shelby, was found guilty Sept. 30 of operating while impaired and was sentenced to 93 days suspended jail with credit for one day served and $1,090 in fines and costs. One count of operating while intoxicated was dismissed. Conviction reportable to SOS.

– William Charles Queener, 21, of 2001 Hickory Acres Dr., Howell, Michigan, was found guilty Sept. 30 of operating an ORV while intoxicated and was sentenced to 93 days suspended jail with credit for one day served and $790 in fines and costs. Charges of operating while intoxicated and malicious destruction of property $200-$1,000 were dismissed. Conviction reportable to SOS.

– Brandon Lee Wemple, 22, of 1323 E. Wilke Rd., Rothbury, was found guilty Sept. 30 of operating while impaired and was sentenced to 93 days suspended jail with credit for two days served and $1,090 in fines and costs. Charges of operating while intoxicated and operating without a license on person were dismissed. Conviction reportable to SOS.

– Ronnie Lee Brown, 58, of 4371 Oak Ave., Twin Lake, was found guilty Sept. 30 of unlawful license plates and was sentenced to 90 days suspended jail with credit for one day served and $265 in fines and costs. Charges of driving while license suspended (DWLS) and operating without insurance were dismissed. Conviction reportable to SOS.

– Brittney Jayne McClain, 29, of 1990 E. Monroe Rd., Hart, was found guilty Oct. 3 of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail and $290 in fines and costs. One count of improper license was dismissed.

– Alejandro Joseph Salazar, 35, of 3511 N. Woodridge Rd., Mears, was found guilty Oct. 1 of disturbing the peace and was sentenced to $400 in fines and costs. One count of disorderly person – drunk was dismissed.

– Alan Curtis Geno, 41, of 3456 E. Harrison Rd., Hart, was found guilty Oct. 1 of operating without insurance and was sentenced to one year suspended jail with credit for one day served and $400 in fines and costs.

– Joshua David Gill, 27, of 4217 S. Hubbard St., Wayne, Michigan, was found guilty Oct. 1 of operating without insurance and was sentenced to one year suspended jail with credit for one day served and $400 in fines and costs.

– Alan Joseph Link, 31, of 402 W. Baker, Twin Lake, was found guilty Oct. 1 of operating without insurance and was sentenced to one year suspended jail with credit for one day served and $400 in fines and costs. Charges of DWLS and unlawful license plate were dismissed. Conviction reportable to SOS.

– James Edgar Newville, 40, of 1070 W. Broadway Ave., Muskegon, was found guilty Oct. 1 of operating without insurance and was sentenced to one year suspended jail with credit for one day served and $400 in fines and costs. One count of DWLS was dismissed. Conviction reportable to SOS.

– Freddie St. Joe Spencer, Jr., 27, of 27 Harrison Blvd., Muskegon, was found guilty Oct. 1 of operating without insurance and was sentenced to one year suspended jail and $400 in fines and costs. Charges of DWLS and unlawful license plate were dismissed. Conviction reportable to SOS.
