HART – District Health Department #10 is helping communities prepare for the upcoming flu season by offering flu vaccines to children, adults and seniors.

“Flu season is unpredictable – even healthy people can become seriously ill,” states a DHD #10 press release. “The best way to protect yourself and your family against influenza is to get an annual flu, vaccine and the time to do so is now.”
There are two upcoming walk-in flu clinics – no appointment necessary:

– Oceana County Council on Aging, 621 E. Main, Hart, Wednesday, Oct. 30, from 1:30-3:30 p.m.
You can also schedule an appointment for a flu shot at DHD#10, 3986 N. Oceana Dr, Hart: Friday, Oct. 11; Thursday, Oct. 31; and Friday, Nov. 15, 9-11 a.m. and 1-3 p.m. Call ‪888-217-3904‬ to schedule.
