OWI, warrant arrests top police weekend activity.

The following is police activity over the weekend:

Thursday, Sept. 19, 2019:

– 8 a.m., (Michigan State Police), assault, 3000 block of Melody Lane, Hart Township.

– 7:15 p.m., (MSP), assault, 1000 West Ray Avenue, Village of New Era.

Friday, Sept. 20, 2019:

– 1:49 a.m., (MSP), a 68-year-old Muskegon man was arrested for operating while intoxicated (OWI) US 31 and Oceana Drive, Grant Township.

– 8:05 p.m., (Oceana County Sheriff’s Office), a 49-year-old Shelby man was arrested on a failure to appear warrant, South Oceana Drive, Shelby Township.

Saturday, Sept. 21, 2019:

– 5:45 a.m., (OCSO), a 31-year-old Spring Lake man was arrested for OWI, East Loop Road, Ferry Township.

– 9:34 a.m., (OCSO), larceny of horse saddles valued at $800, East Filmore Road, Leavitt Township.

– 2:55 p.m., (MSP), threats, 7000 block East Gale Road, Village of Hesperia.

– 5:45 p.m., (MSP), malicious destruction of a sliding glass door, 4000 block of South River Drive, Village of Hesperia.

– 8:05 p.m., (OCSO), a 44-year-old Hesperia man was arrested for possession of a firearm while under the influence of alcohol, East Baker Road, Newfield Township.

– 9 p.m., (MSP), assault 2000 block of East Hammett Road, Crystal Township.

Sunday, Sept. 22, 2019:

– 7:38 a.m., (OCSO), assault and battery, North Perry Avenue, Pentwater Township.

– 2:25 p.m., (MSP), one-vehicle crash, no injuries, US 31 and Oceana Drive, Pentwater Township.

– 6:33 p.m., (MSP), one-vehicle crash, no injuries, US 31 and Webster Road, Grant Township.

– 10:15 p.m., (OCSO), a 54-year-old Hesperia man was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear, South 180th Avenue, Greenwood Township.
