Drunk driving arrests top weekend police activity.

The following is police activity in Oceana County over the weekend:

Friday, Aug. 16, 2019:

– 2:43 a.m., (Michigan State Police), retail fraud, alcohol was stolen, Wesco store, Village of Rothbury. The case is under investigation.

– 6:13 a.m., (Oceana County Sheriff’s Office), damage to property, a minivan’s tires were slashed, Pine Haven Campground, 7700 block of North 186th Avenue, Colfax Township.

– 3:25 p.m., (MSP), one-vehicle crash, no injuries, 192nd Avenue and Jefferson Road, Colfax Township.

Saturday, Aug. 17, 2019:

– 6 a.m., (OCSO), assault and battery, Webster Road near 92nd Avenue, Grant Township.

– 7:35 p.m., (MSP), a 39-year-old Mears man was arrested for open intoxicants, driving without insurance, driving while license suspended (DWLS) and on a fugitive warrant, and a 44-year-old Hart man was arrested for open intoxicants, 1000 block of 72nd Avenue, Shelby Township.

– 7:39 p.m., (OCSO), a 54-year-old Kalamazoo man was arrested for operating while intoxicated (OWI), Silver Lake Sand Dunes, West Fox Road, Golden Township.

Sunday, Aug. 18, 2019:

– 12:23 a.m., (MSP), a 24-year-old Gainesville, Georgia man was arrested for OWI, 1000 block of Arthur Road, Grant Township.

– 5:27 a.m., (OCSO), a 67-year-old Hart man was arrested for OWI, US 31, Shelby Township.

– 7:07 p.m., (OCSO), a 32-year-old Mears man was arrested for furnishing false information to a police officer, DWLS, registration violation and no insurance, North 56th Avenue, Golden Township.

– 7:17 p.m., (OCSO), larceny of a lawn mower valued at $500, West Tahoe Trail, Grant Township.
