HART – The following were sentenced recently in 27th Circuit Court:

Spears

– Jason Lee Spears, 25, of 5178 W. Fox Rd., Mears, was found guilty June 10 of weapons/ammunition possession and was sentenced Aug. 5 to 250 days in jail with credit for 133 days served; 18 months probation; and $490 in fines and costs. One count of assault with a weapon was dismissed.

– Daryl Delapaz, AKA Daryl De La Paz, 45, of 7792 186th Ave., Walkerville, was found guilty June 24 of third-offense operating while intoxicated

(OWI) and was sentenced Aug. 5 to six months in jail with credit for 60 days served; two years probation; and $490 in fines and costs. Once count of second-offense driving while license suspended (DWLS) was dismissed. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS).

– Andrew James Larue, 28, of 5101 Whitney St., Montague, was found guilty of probation violation and

sentenced Aug. 5 to 165 days in jail with credit for 148 days served; probation continued; and $400 in fines and costs. “The court does not object to defendant going to KPEP (Kalamazoo Probation Enhancement Program) with amended probation order,” his court file states. Probation stems from a Dec. 4, 2017 conviction of methamphetamine possession.
