Man arrested after allegedly fleeing from police.

GOLDEN TOWNSHIP – A 21-year-old Shelby man who allegedly fled from police was arrested Saturday, July 13, at 2:14 a.m. on a felony charge of fleeing and eluding and a misdemeanor of open intoxicants in a vehicle on Wood Road near 22nd Avenue. He was also wanted on an outstanding warrant, according to Oceana County Sheriff Craig Mast.

A passenger, who is a 22-year-old Grand Rapids man, was arrested for open intoxicants.

Wednesday, July 10, 2019:

9:55 p.m., (Michigan State Police), a 57-year-old Grand Haven woman was cited for violating a restricted license following a car/deer crash, US 31 and Polk Road, Hart Township.

Thursday, July 11, 2019:

Noon, (MSP), identity theft, 800 block of 88th Avenue, Shelby Township.

10 p.m., (MSP), stolen lawn equipment, 5500 block of South Sagola Trail, Village of Rothbury.

Friday, July 12, 2019:

10:37 a.m., (Oceana County Sheriff’s Office), a 51-year-old Hesperia man was arrested for second-offense driving while license suspended (DWLS), 72nd Avenue, Shelby Township.

11 a.m., (MSP), a 47-year-old Montague man was arrested on an outstanding warrant, 3000 block of Webster Road, Grant Township.

5:42 p.m., (OCSO), a 53-year-old New Era man was arrested for operating while intoxicated (OWI), Stony Lake Oval/Benona Township Park, Benona Township.

Saturday, July 13, 2019:

4:10 a.m., (MSP), a 35-year-old Mears man was arrested on an outstanding warrant, US 31 near Polk Road, Hart Township.

5:30 a.m., (MSP), car/deer crash, Webster Road near 48th Avenue, Claybanks Towsnhip.

11:05 a.m., (OCSO), a 36-year-old Rothbury man was arrested on outstanding warrants and on suspicion of possible narcotics that were seized for testing, 88th Avenue, Grant Township.

11:41 p.m., (OCSO), a 33-year-old New Era man was arrested for no operator’s license, Arthur Road near Oceana Drive, Grant Township.
