Northbound US 31 on-ramp at Shelby Road to close Monday.

SHELBY TOWNSHIP – The northbound US 31 on-ramp at Shelby Road is scheduled to be closed for a week starting Monday, July 15, at 6 a.m. through Sunday, July 21, at 5 p.m.

The ramp closure is part of the road construction project on US 31 from M 20 to north of Shelby Road that began Tuesday, July 9.

The $1.8 million project includes resurfacing approximately four miles of the highway.

Mainline milling and paving will take place starting the week of July 22. Mainline work will consist of intermittent single lane closures on both directions of US 31 between M 20 and Shelby Road.

Additional ramp closures will take place after the mainline work, and updates will be provided as the dates draw near.
