HART – The following cases were dismissed recently in 78th District Court:

Felonies

– Daryl De-La-Paz, 45, of 7792 N. 186th Ave., Walkerville, felony charges of assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder and fourth-degree child abuse were dismissed June 24. The victim is unwilling to cooperate with the prosecution.

– James Gabriel Jawor, 55, of 6935 Blank Rd., Whitehall, felony charges of third-offense domestic violence and felonious assault were dismissed June 24. The victim is unwilling to cooperate with the prosecution.

– Tryston Vernon Lauderdale, 36, of 5210 Wexford Ave., Lansing, one felony count of narcotic/cocaine possession less than 25 grams was dismissed June 17.

Misdemeanors

– Christine Ann Day, 27, of 2301 William St., Ludington, charges of domestic violence and operating while under the influence of drugs were dismissed June 18.

– Dulce Karina Ramirez-Martinez, 36, of 4041 N. 168th Ave., Walkerville, one count of domestic violence was dismissed June 10. The victim is unwilling to cooperate with the prosecution.

– Taren Marie Puls, 34, of 9440 Oaklane Dr., Montague, one count of domestic violence was dismissed June 10. The victim is unwilling to cooperate with the prosecution.

– Santa Monica Ramos, 34, of 1593 E. Hammett Rd., Hart, one count of truancy was dismissed June 10. Defendant was able to get her minor child to school on a regular and continuous basis since being charged with truancy.

– Amanda Louise Munoz, 41, of 5892 N. 96th Ave., Hart, one count of truancy was dismissed June 10. Defendant was able to get her minor child to school on a regular and continuous basis since being charged with truancy.

– Haley May Jean Egolf, age and address not listed, one count of abandonment/cruelty to animals was dismissed June 10. Co-defendant pleaded guilty to the charge.

– Robbie Jay Rice, 46, of 7140 S. Westshore Dr., Rothbury, one count of harboring misdemeanants was dismissed June 10. Co-defendant is set to plead guilty.

– Michael James Swaynie, 22, of 1520 E. Pine Hill Ave., White Cloud, one count of violation of license restrictions was dismissed June 12.

– Ricardo Martinez Lazo, Sr., 49, of 631 Lever Rd., Hart, one count of truancy was dismissed June 24. Since being charged, one of his children graduated from high school and the other child’s attendance has improved. Defendant was educated about truancy and he now understands his legal obligation to get his minor child to school on a regular and continuous basis.

– Malea Paige Jiles, 28, of 2325 S. 118th Ave., Shelby, one count of truancy was dismissed June 24. Defendant was able to get her minor child to school on a regular and continuous basis since being charged with truancy.

– Shayne Chris Smith, 30, of 7818 Gale Rd., Hesperia, one count of domestic violence was dismissed June 24. The victim is unwilling to cooperate with the prosecution.

– Kaeleb Thomas Mattix, 18, of 7397 High Timbers Dr., Greenville, one count of unlawful license plates was dismissed June 29.

– Kevin Thomas Knowles, 29, of 9420 E. Filmore Rd., Hesperia, charges of reckless driving and improper plates were dismissed June 29.

– Matthew John Horling, 18, of 16670 88th Ave., Coopersville, one count of operating without insurance was dismissed June 24.

Heraldo Gabriel Vasquez, 43, of 1533 N. 72nd Ave., Hart, one count of operating without insurance was dismissed June 21.

Rebbekka Leigh Courturier, 30, of 73 6th St., Shelby, one count of truancy was dismissed June 24. Defendant was able to get her minor child to school on a regular and continuous basis since being charged with truancy.

– Maria Isabel Olivas, 41, of 403 S. Hart St., Hart, one count of truancy was dismissed June 24. Defendant showed documentation that the minor child is now being home schooled.
