Drugged driving arrest tops police activity.

SHELBY TOWNSHIP – A 25-year-old Muskegon man was arrested by Michigan State Police troopers from the Hart post for operating under the influence of drugs Tuesday, June 25, at 8:15 p.m. following a two-vehicle crash at Oceana Drive and Baker Road, according to Sgt. Charles Hockanson.

No one was injured in the crash, and the suspect was lodged in the Oceana County Jail.

  • 9:15 a.m., (Michigan State Police), fraud, 4000 block of 120th Avenue, Elbridge Township.
  • 9:30 a.m., (Oceana County Sheriff’s Office), a 29-year-old Shelby man was arrested for failure to comply with sex offender reporting duties, South 64th Avenue, Benona Township.
  • 4 p.m., (MSP), domestic violence, 2000 block of McKinley Road, Grant Township.

  • 8:30 a.m., (OCSO), a 19-year-old Walkerville man was arrested for no operator’s license and no insurance, Tyler Road, Elbridge Township.
  • 11 a.m., (OCSO), a 49-year-old Shelby man was arrested for parole violation, South 118th Avenue, Ferry Township.
  • 1:30 p.m., (MSP), a 34-year-old Shelby man was arrested on a fugitive warrant, 100 block of 66th Avenue, Shelby Township.
