HART – The following were sentenced recently in 78th District Court:

– Matthew David Hausermann, 28, of 2072 East Castle Dr. SE, Grand Rapids, was found guilty June 4 of operating while impaired and was sentenced to outpatient treatment; 93 days discretionary jail; and $1,055 in fines and costs. One count of second-offense operating while intoxicated was dismissed. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS).

– Michael Francis Machovsky, 56, of 3025 W. Webster Rd., Montague, was found guilty June 4 of transporting open intoxicants and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail and $435 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS. One count of operating while intoxicated was dismissed.

– Michael Ray Hale, 32, of 105 Woodlawn Ave., Hart, was found guilty June 3 of driving while license suspended (DWLS) and was sentenced to one year discretionary jail and $465 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.

– Jerry Lee Brown, 54, of 137 W. Wilke Rd., Rothbury, was found guilty April 29 of second-offense operating while intoxicated and was sentenced June 4 to one year discretionary jail; six months on SCRAM (Secure Continuous Remote Alcohol Monitoring); six months probation; many impose jail if non-compliant with SCRAM and/or probation; and $725 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS. One felony count of third-offense operating while intoxicated was dismissed.

– Ronald Sylvester-Cleatus Monroe, 20, of 4164 120th Ave., Hart, pleaded “no contest” June 3 to attempted animal abandonment/cruelty and was sentenced to six months discretionary jail and $475 in fines and costs.

– Darrell Grant Cole, 64, of 6263 E. VanBuren Rd., Walkerville, was found guilty June 3 of retail fraud and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail and $462 in fines, costs and restitution. One count of operating without insurance was dismissed.

– Britney Lyn Cole, 33, of 3704 Hopkins Lake Dr., Ludington, was found guilty June 4 of operating while impaired and was sentenced to Alcohol Highway Safety Education (AHSE); 93 days discretionary jail; and $1,090 in fines and costs. One count of operating while intoxicated was dismissed. Conviction reportable to SOS.

– Nathaniel David South, 25, of 905 S. 144th Ave., Shelby, was found guilty June 3 of open intoxicants and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail and $300 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.

– Adam Thomas Flood, 25, of 34 Grant St., Shelby, was found guilty June 3 of driving while license not valid and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail and $300 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.

– Ashley Nicole Little-Crawford, 28, of 275 5th Ave., Manistee, was found guilty May 30 of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to $350 in fines and costs. One count of DWLS was dismissed.

– Sergio Castro-Bustamante, 41, of 5000 S. Paoiuse HW, Spokane, Washington, was found guilty May 29 of allowing a person to drive in violation and was sentenced to $290 in fines and costs. One count of DWLS was dismissed.

– Alfredo Garcia, 44, of 113 Riverside Dr., Hart, was found guilty May 29 of illegally dumping tires and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail and $290 in fines and costs. Another count of illegally dumping tires and one count of DWLS were dismissed.

– Kyle Lawrence Buchanan, 23, of 828 Hawthorne Ave., Ypsilanti, was found guilty May 30 of operating an ORV on a public road and was sentenced to $250 in fines and costs.

– Tyler David Hamel, 17, of 3111 Belgian Dr., Lansing, was found guilty May 30 of fishing without a license and was sentenced to $85 fines and costs.

– Jesse Edward Ingalls-Johnson, 26, of 3361 E. Garfield Rd., Hesperia, was found guilty May 29 of DWLS and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail and $400 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS. He was also found guilty May 29 of improper plates and was sentenced to a $75 fine.

– Brent Arthur Miklos, 21, of 60 N. State St., Shelby, was found guilty June 3 of driving while license not valid and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary hi and $380 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.

Dismissals

– Mark Gordon MacDonald, 33, of 3628 Lees Lane, Hart, one count of domestic violence was dismissed May 30. “The victim is unwilling to cooperate with the prosecution of the defendant,” his court file states.

– J. Jesus Santillian-Alanis, (no age or address listed), one count of forest fires – setting fire without reasonable precautions was dismissed May 30. “It is not in the interest of justice to go forward with this matter,” court records state.

– Victoria Lee Roudonis, 61, of 895 N. 122nd Ave., Hart, one count of operating without insurance was dismissed. “It is not in the interest of justice to go forward with this matter,” court records state.

– Wayne Alan Pretty II, 43, of 2614 W. Filmore Rd., Hart, one count of failure to report an accident was dismissed June 4.

– Amanda Marie Zoulek, 31, of 5923 W. Stony Lake Rd., New Era, one count of marijuana possession was dismissed June 3.
