The following is recent activity in Oceana County of the Michigan State Police post in Hart:

Monday, May 20, 2019:

– 5:40 p.m., car/turkey crash, US 31 and Shelby Road, Shelby Township.

Tuesday, May 21, 2019:

– 12:10 p.m., possible child abuse, 7000 block of 120th Avenue, Crystal Township.

Wednesday, May 22, 2019:

– 2:25 a.m., a 40-year-old Shelby woman was charged with operating without insurance and a 25-year-old Shelby man was charged with open intoxicants in a vehicle, Oceana Drive and Winston Road, Village of Rothbury.

– 11 p.m., warrant arrest and driving while license suspended, US 31 and Park Road, Grant Township. Suspect info unavailable.
