Musical instrument stolen during camper break-in

NEWFIELD TOWNSHIP – A musical instrument was stolen during breaking and entering of a locked camper in the 8000 block of East Parkton Road, according to Michigan State Police Sgt. Adam Clement of the Hart post.

The break-in was reported Sunday, May 5, at 8 p.m. It occurred some time between April 29 and May 5.

5:56 p.m., child custody dispute, 2000 block of North Water Road, Hart Township.

10 p.m., a 46-year-old Portage man was arrested for driving without insurance, Maple Island Road near Skeels Road, Newfield Township.
