78th District Court sentencings.

HART – The following were sentenced recently in 78th District Court:

Jared Ray Miller, 28, of 9441 Oak Lane, Montague, was found guilty March 4 of aggravated assault and was sentenced April 15 to six months probation; one year discretionary jail for one year; $273 in restitution; and $1,025 in fines and costs. One count of felonious assault was dismissed.

Alfredo Lopez, 73, of 7219 88th Ave., Rothbury, was found guilty April 15 of second-offense operating while intoxicated and was sentenced to nine days in jail with credit for three days served; six months probation; outpatient treatment; immobilize vehicle for 90 days; and $1,865 in fines, costs and restitution. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS). One count of driving while license suspended (DWLS) was dismissed.

Joshua David-Robert Hilberg, 23, of 1090 W. Giles Rd., Muskegon, was found guilty April 12 of driving while license not valid and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail for one year and $420 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.

Jacob Michael Bectel, 30, of 569 Sunshine Lane, Muskegon, was found guilty April 12 of DWLS and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail for one year and $415 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.

Saul Eduardo Botello-Hernandez, 22, of 142 Ferry St., Shelby, was found guilty April 12 of driving while license not valid and was sentenced $310 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.

Joshua Guiterrez, 20, of 2880 W. Polk Rd., Hart, was found guilty April 12 of unlawful license plates and was sentenced to $215 in fines and costs.

Shawn William-Phillip Knop, 34, of 9217 S. 88th Ave., Montague, was found guilty April 12 of allowing a child under age 16 operate an ORV and was sentenced to $290 in fines and costs.

John Lewis Ruggles, 48, of 865 W. Sippy Rd., Scottville, was found guilty April 12 of DWLS and sentenced to $400 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.

Anthony Robert Truschke, 27, of 4908 1 Mile Rd., Fremont, was found guilty April 12 of taking a walleye out of season and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail for one year and $235 in fines and costs.
