Mears man arrested for felonious assault.

GOLDEN TOWNSHIP – A 24-year-old Mears man was arrested by Oceana County sheriff’s deputies for felonious assault after allegedly attempting to fire a round from a “makeshift modified firearm” Monday, March 25, shortly before 3 a.m. on West Fox Road, said Oceana County Sheriff Craig Mast.

The firearm was modified by using some sort of pipe. No injuries occurred.

Friday, March 22, 2019:

– 2:31 a.m,. (Oceana County Sheriff’s Office), a 24-year-old Hesperia man was arrested on an outstanding warrant, South 148th Avenue, Otto Township. An additional charge of methamphetamine possession is pending as police await lab results.

– 8:01 p.m., (OCSO), a 32-year-old Muskegon man was arrested for operating with the presence of drugs and heroin possession, US 31, Hart Township.
