Pentwater Women’s Club Wine & Art by the Water benefit scheduled for May 19.

PENTWATER — The Pentwater Women’s Club is getting ready for its 13th Annual Scholarship Fundraiser, Wine & Art by the Water on Sunday, May 19 from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Pentwater Yacht Club. The event will feature a silent auction on many items from paintings, jewelry and gift baskets to gift certificates for all kinds of goods and services.

There will be over 30 different wines to sample, along with a table full of delicious

hors d’oeuvres.  A special raffle is scheduled to give away a lovely handmade quilt, a highlight of previous years’ fundraisers. This event raises thousands of dollars to help deserving students from the local area realize their dream of further education.

Tickets will be available for sale soon at many merchants in Pentwater and Hart.

Cost is $25 in advance and $30 at the door. All proceeds go directly to scholarships for the students. Mark your calendars.
